Two weeks ago we kicked off our personal work contest and enlisted some well respected judges from the advertising and marketing community. We then went out on social media to gather votes from our followers. Each photographer, Stylist and Retoucher submitted their best work from tests they completed earlier in the year. It was a exercise in planning, collaboration and idea generation. We are so proud of all the work that was submitted. Below are some of the winners by category!

Wild Swans Wins Best Collaboration, Best Prop Styling, Best Wardrobe, Best Retouching
This project called Wild Swans swept all categories but one. Inspired by the Truman Capote series on Apple TV, it was the brainchild of photographer Sarah Flotard and Photo Art Director Lauren Day. Once the idea was solidified they invited Food Stylist and Set Designer Suzy Bichl to help with the drinks and modeling and Jon Birdseye
Just Fruit takes the Most Intriguing Set of Images Award
Chona Kasinger, most known for her on-location editorial portraiture work, headed to the studio where she collaborated with HMU artist Lindsay Watkins, Food Stylist Kristina Capulong, Assistant Adam Gatdula for this series of images. It's Called Just Fruit. For Chona this was a more conceptual shoot than what she is usually hired for and found it extremely gratifying. "There is a lot more control in studio," she says. "I really enjoyed collaborating with the team!"
